§ Recommended books: 32 Third Graders and One Class Bunny by Philip Dunn and The Essential 55 by Ron Clark

§ Hand out on tips for teachers.

§ Mr. Davis explained the following tips:

§ Children thrive off consistency.

§ Make sure children know they are safe and there is no tolerance for bullying.

§ Make sure you know your children well.

§ Make sure students know they are not your friend.

§ Make sure to tell parents you want students to succeed.

§ Build relationships with parents and teachers.

§ 7:25 Buddy up with members on your team for support and ideas.

§ Though you play many roles you are only one person.

§ 7:35 Keep a sense of humor, learn to laugh at yourself.
